Dr. Schumacher is a Sarasota neurosurgeon with training in general and functional neurosurgery. His education includes medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine, surgical internship at Johns Hopkins, neurosurgical residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and additional training in functional neurosurgery at Yale.
His clinical interests include general neurosurgery, spine surgery, epilepsy surgery, and stereotactic and functional neurosurgery.
